West Coast wonders
Thought I'd add a shot of him where more of his beautiful natural environment is evident. On the shores of lake Mahinapua
Whilst this is not the bridge the nice policeman helped me with, it has to be one of the bridges with the most beautiful view! Just south of Franz Joseph
Gillespie's Beach - modern day escapism - absolutley no cellphone/internet coverage! Back to days of feeling like you were a million miles from anywhere.
Whilst everyone was looking at the sun setting in the west, the view to the east over Mounts Cook and Tasman was every bit as stunning.

Grade A grey day
This was the scene that greeted me when I woke this morning - dad & the kids rowing out into the bay for a spot of pre-breakfast fishing. I simply hopped out of bed walked a few metres to the beach and captured the scene. What a lovely start to the day :)
Westhaven inlet is a beautiful is a beautiful expanse of water, even when the weather isn't so good it retains it's beauty.
